The "Glam Slam" concept was originally created by Prince Rogers Nelson.
In the Early 1990's Prince acquired/licensed properties in Minneapolis, Miami, and Los Angeles and repurposed the venues for both music and live performances, using cutting edge technology that merged music, video, and performance in synchronicity.
"Glam Slam" was also franchised to a Japanese conglomerate and a venue was opened in Tokyo in the 1990's
While all of the original venues have now been repurposed, "Glam Slam" continues in the tradition of its concept creator and creates, manages, and co-collaborates in music events worldwide, with a handful of the original crew that either worked or managed the "Glam Slam" concept in the 1990's. In keeping with the original purpose of concept by Prince himself, "Glam Slam" events have everyone feel that they can be a part of our experience regardless of gender, ability, race, religion or sexuality.
Glam Slam is a Non-Profit entity, established in Minneapolis MN, USA.
Through its initiatives, it funds musically creative concepts by artists challenged by multi-national corporate marginalization and manages and partners with affiliates worldwide in its event delivery.
The entity today, has no direct or financial ties with the Estate of Prince Rogers Nelson. However, from time to time, we may work collaboratively on projects to support the legacy of the estate and its supported artists when and if required.

October 26th 2022:
Following a recent death from covid complications of CEO Valerie Douw, Anthony Cruze has been nominated to become Glam Slams' next CEO (global), effective today.
Australian born, with family in the United States, Cruze first experienced then worked for Glam Slam East (LA) and Glam Slam Yokohama as a guest DJ. He was also employed as part of the Warner Bros. crew that produced the "Glam Slam" broadcast that linked all of the Glam Slams together via satellite in an "interactive" 2-day concert anchored by Prince.
Of late, he had released a remix for Sheila E ft. Prince called "The Leader". A Multi Guinness World Record Winning DJ and Producer, he is widely known for his success at turning around companies that have experienced adverse events. The committee congratulates and sees Cruze's appointment as a natural progression of the entity and its cause.
In accepting his new role as CEO of Glam Slam, Cruze remembered both Prince and Paul Pudlitzke, who was the original talent co-ordinator of the club concept that convinced great artists such as B.B. King, Miles Davis, Average White Band, Morris Day & The Time and Creed into the Glam Slam venue "mix".
Paul was also credited for the "Glam Slam" parties and events which were initiated in Las Vegas and are now resuming across the world, all in the name of providing a platform for minority artists to make their mark on the music industry.
He plans to regroup with former partners/directors of Glam Slam: Steve Edelson and Gilbert Davison on one-off projects for the entity. Something that has been a "long time coming".
